Oscar Piastri, born on April 6, 2001 in Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, is an Australian racing driver who currently races for the McLaren F1 Team with the car number 81. Piastri used to be part of the Alpine team. From 2019 to 2021, he won the championships of the Formula Renault, Formula 3, and Formula 2 in three consecutive years respectively. In September 2022, the McLaren Team confirmed that Piastri would become teammates with Lando Norris and fight side by side in the 2023 season. On September 24, 2023, in the F1 Japanese Grand Prix, Piastri, the driver of the McLaren Team, bravely won the third place and thus won the first podium award in his F1 career. In October of the same year, in the F1 Qatar Grand Prix, Piastri started from the sixth position and finally won the second place. On May 27, 2024, Piastri won the second place in the F1 Monaco Grand Prix. On June 30, 2024, Piastri ranked second in the Austrian Grand Prix of the FIA Formula One World Championship (F1) in the 2024 season. In July 2024, Piastri won the second place in the Belgian Grand Prix. In September of the same year, Piastri won the second place in the F1 Italian Grand Prix. In December 2023, Piastri was named the Autosport Rookie of the Year 2023.
