Early Experiences:
Carlos Sainz was born in Madrid, Spain in 1994. When he was two years old, he got his first kart. Then, when he was nine years old, the Spanish driver Fernando Alonso won the F1 World Championship. In 2005, at the age of ten, Sainz met Alonso at the Spanish Grand Prix and declared that he wanted to be like Fernando Alonso.
In 2008, young Carlos Sainz competed in the Asia-Pacific KF3 Championship and won the championship. Meanwhile, he also won the second place in the Spanish Championship. The following year, he took part in the Monaco Junior Kart Cup and won the championship. Subsequently, he won the second place in the European KF3 Championship.
In 2010, he chose to join the EuroInternational team to compete in the Formula BMW. And his first appearance in a Formula BMW race was as a guest. In the same year, he competed in the Formula BMW Pacific held at the Sepang International Circuit and achieved the second and fourth places respectively in the two races. Meanwhile, he also participated in the Formula Renault UK Winter Cup and got the sixth place in the first race at the Snetterton Circuit, while he retired from the second race.
F1 Career
Toro Rosso (Scuderia Toro Rosso) Period (2015 - 2017)
In 2015: Carlos Sainz started his F1 career with the Toro Rosso team. In this year, he demonstrated good adaptability. Despite facing tremendous competitive pressure as a rookie, he gradually established himself in the F1 arena through consistent performance and a quick understanding of the racing car.
From 2016 to 2017: During this period, he continued to make progress. He worked closely with the team, constantly optimizing the setup of the racing car to suit his driving style. His performance on the track became more and more mature. He was able to engage in fierce battles with other drivers and achieved good results in some Grand Prix races, winning valuable points for the Toro Rosso team.
Renault Team Period (2017 - 2018)
At the end of 2017, Sainz transferred to the Renault team. In the Renault team, he was expected to help improve the team's competitiveness in the F1 arena. He actively participated in the racing car research and development process and communicated closely with the engineers, which led to the optimization of the racing car's performance to a certain extent.

McLaren Team Period (2019 - 2022)
In 2019: Sainz joined the McLaren team. His driving style also became more mature, enabling him to make precise maneuvers when overtaking and defending.
In 2022: This year was a crucial one for him in the McLaren team. He maintained a high level of competitiveness throughout the season and was able to hold his own against other top drivers. Ferrari Team Period (2023 - Present)
